 Seven-Maples SH-OR Scapegoat ADGA Registered American Toggenburg, Reg# AT1456079 |
Welcome to Udder Insanity Dairy Goats Buck Page.
This is our new herd sire, Seven-Maples SH-OR Scapegoat. He was purchased from Elaine Eidemiller of Oil City, PA on July 8th, 2008. His dam can be found on her website, VIP Shelby, and 11th freshening 4* milker, listed with the advanced registry. His sire is Orry Main, a new buckling that Elaine purchased from Nestor Acres. Although his picture is candid, and he is not set up, he is extremely long and level, and a good sized boy for only 4 months (that is a dry yearling behind him in the picture). Hopefully he will bring the size and correctness we want in our herd.
Scape had a rough start here when my daughter accidentally left the pen open and he escaped! Hense the name - eSCAPE GOAT. Scape was loose for a little over a week, but fortunately his collar got stuck on a neighbor's swing set and he was able to be captured again.
KIDS AVAILABLE Check back in fall to see who is expecting!.

Moose was a long, tall, powerful buck with a long mantle, skirt, and cape. He had excellent angulation and body capacity but could have used stronger feet and rear legs. A good dairy framed buck, he produced the 2008 kids, Tinkerbell and Barricade when bred to Jezebel. We are retaining Tinkerbell for our herd.

Curving Brook Benjamin Moore, a 2007 Toggenburg buckling! We liked Benjamin when we saw him at Sherri Brubaker's farm in Flemington, NJ. He stands on VERY correct feet and legs, something that we noticed needs improvement in our herd. Unfortunately, his registration did not pass with ADGA, as he is only 87.5% registered. His paternal half sister, Jules does have valid registration. Benjamin still has a place here in this herd with his solid structure, and will be used on 100% registered does to produce 50% registered grade kids.
Benjamin is DARK chocolate brown with bright white typical markings - extremely quiet and gentle, loves neck hugs and petting from the neighborhood children. |
